Owner, Yoga Teacher

Samantha spent many years searching for a fitness routine that would keep her motivated to exercise on a regular basis: aerobics, running, walking; nothing held her interest for more than a couple of months. Boredom would set in and she would give up. All of that changed when she took her first yoga class in 2006. The simple desire to incorporate fitness into her life evolved into something much bigger than she ever imagined. Yoga helps Samantha stay physically fit, while keeping her grounded and balanced off the mat as well.

After a few years of practicing, she started thinking about teaching and took a YogaFit Level 1 Training Course. The energy and excitement Samantha shared with other students during the training convinced her that teaching was definitely the next step on her yoga journey. She enjoys teaching and encouraging students at all levels: those stepping onto the mat for the first time, as well as seasoned practitioners. Each class focuses on proper alignment and breath work with an emphasis on core body strength.

Samantha received her 200-hour Yoga Alliance Certification through Alpha-Omega Yoga in 2009, and her 500-hour through Blue Anjou in 2012. She attends yoga workshops, trainings and retreats as often as possible.
