Fall BINGO Challenge
FAQ’s
In case you have questions about how to play, we’re listing the most common questions we get about Yoga BINGO below. Any other questions, please contact Aimee or Samantha.
One square per day
One class per day
Only classes taken during the BINGO challenge count toward the challenge.
One picture per square
Q: If I take a picture of myself at the studio, can it count for two squares?
A: No, you choose which square you’re doing for the day and post that picture (i.e.; take a picture of yourself holding your reusable water bottle and put a sticker on that square). You can’t combine it with having coffee next door or wearing a Mat branded shirt. Only one square can be marked off per day/per picture posted or emailed.
Q: If I'm not taking a class and decide to drive to the studio and drop off a love note for a teacher item, will it still count?
A: Yes, you can drop off your note on a day you’re not practicing and count that as a BINGO square for that day.
Q: Can I mark off BINGO squares a day or two later, or do I have to be at the studio every day in order to mark off squares?
A: Keep track of what you’re doing off your mat and when you come to the studio, you’ll put the sticker on the square and fill in the date you completed it. For example: if you do a random act of kindness on a Tuesday and don’t take a class at the studio until Thursday, you would put a sticker on the Random Act of Kindness square and fill in Tuesday’s date.
Q: Do I need to practice every day in order to participate in the BINGO challenge?
A: No, you don’t have to practice every day, but you can only mark off one BINGO square per day. For squares that don’t require you to be at the studio (Random Act of Kindness, Read our Monthly Blog and Comment, etc.) you need to remember the day you did it so you can mark off the BINGO square the next time you’re at the studio.
Q: Do I need to take a certain number of classes during the BINGO challenge?
A: You can take as many classes as you want from 1 to 31. If you’re going for the milestone visits, you’ll keep up with the number of classes you take and put a sticker on the square on the same day that you take your 5th, 10th, 15th or 20th class. You must be at the studio to mark off each of these milestone visits. For example, if you practice every day from October 1 to October 10, you need to be at the studio on October 10th to put your sticker on that square. The 10 classes can be taken in-studio, virtually, a combination of the two.
Q: Is a BINGO row only horizontal?
A: No, it can be vertical or diagonal as well. It needs to be 7 BINGO squares in a row.
Q: Do I have to take classes IN-STUDIO if it says Take Yin or Yin/Nidra or Mindful Flow + Meditation, or Karma class?
A: No, these classes can be taken IN-STUDIO or Virtually. They can only count as one square. So, you wouldn’t mark off the square for taking a virtual class on the same day as taking a specific class like Yin or Yin/Nidra. Only one square per day.
Q: If I take two classes on one day and no class the following day, can I count the two classes on two separate days?
A: No, you can only count one class per day. Multiple classes in the same day will only count as one class toward the BINGO challenge and/or Milestone Visits.
