Strong Flow: This class is geared toward people who enjoy a physical challenge and like to explore the body's capacity for strength. Alignment cues and hands-on assists are woven in to safely guide students through challenging but accessible poses to build strength and flexibility. Recommended for those with some prior yoga experience, but modifications will be offered so everyone can work at their own pace.
Open Flow: Spend 60 minutes journeying through the poses of Vinyasa flow and finding transformative moments of stillness. Designed for all levels.
Slow Flow: Slow flow yoga is a meditative flow that practices slowing down by using a slow steady breath, holding postures, transitioning smoothly, and opening gently and mindfully with the ability to move deeper into one’s body and self. It’s a practice that builds strength, and each movement is initiated by slow controlled inhales and exhales. Accessible for all levels.
Yoga Tune Up®: Improve your body awareness and mechanics with YTU. This class blends yoga with techniques from other movement disciplines and self-massage using Yoga Tune Up® Therapy Balls. By providing a different perspective on familiar yoga movements, each session teaches skills for keeping your body strong, stable, and mobile for your yoga practice and everyday life. The last YTU class of every month will focus on self-massage and myofascial release using Yoga Tune Up® Therapy Balls! During this guided exploration of your body’s tissues, you will discover greater mobility and range of motion in your joints, and experience release in tight muscles. The techniques you’ll learn act as a physical and mental reset that helps you feel better and can improve your experience of your yoga practice.
Gentle Flow: Get back to basics with a slower-paced 60-minute Vinyasa flow session. Perfect for beginners and practitioners of all levels who want to brush up on fundamentals.
Yin: Yin yoga is a passive practice that deeply nourishes the connective tissues. Poses are held for 3 to 10 minutes to help you release tension and energy from your muscles and connective tissues.
Yin/Nidra: 30 minutes of Yin/30 minutes of Yoga Nidra. See above for Yin description. Yoga Nidra is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, like the "going-to-sleep" stage. It is a state in which the body is completely relaxed, and the practitioner becomes systematically and increasingly aware of the inner world by following a set of verbal instructions.
Meditation: Learn more about meditation—an essential element of yogic practice—with this 30-minute voyage into stillness.
Deep Stretch: Access and open areas of tension or strain in your body, increasing your range of motion, core stability, and awareness of healthy body mechanics on and off the mat. Designed for all levels.
Balls + Bliss: Locate and release tension hidden in your muscles and connective tissue to help prepare the body for meditation. Approximately 10 minutes of ball therapy followed by 20 minutes of guided meditation.
Restorative: Heal body, mind, and spirit in this gentle 75-minute class adapted to individual needs. Open to all levels.
Senior/Chair Yoga: Improve your strength, flexibility, and mobility through standing or seated yoga poses specially adapted for seniors (55 and older) at any level of health and fitness. Chairs and props are provided to keep everyone safe and supported—no need to bring a yoga mat.
