Prenatal Yoga is one of the best ways to train our bodies for the marathon that is pregnancy and childbirth. In this 4 week series of 75 minute classes we will practice poses to strengthen and stretch muscles, release tension and alleviate low back pain. In Prenatal yoga we learn to relax at-will and maintain a positive focus while clearing the mind of the stresses associated with all stages of motherhood. The breathing and relaxation techniques we will practice can be carried into labor and beyond. The benefits in attending a prenatal yoga series are numerous; benefits beyond what we can receive in a regular yoga class. This series will present the opportunity to deepen our awareness of our changing bodies, our growing babies and share with other pregnant women in class. This series is for all stages of pregnancy. Prenatal Series begin on the first Sunday of each month and run 4 consecutive weeks, unless otherwise indicated. Signup online or call the studio to ensure your spot in the series.
